My grandfather Brad Finigan used to play ball in Freeport, but before this timelines. I do see that Ray Finigan was an umpire though. Neat to find your website!

Thank you for your comment. Brad Finigan was principal at Freeport around the late 50’s when I was in school. I keep adding to these blogs as I find the information. There may be something of Brad and baseball yet.

Yes, I did hear that Brad’s nickname was “Hurricane Finigan” from a former student!
