President of the United States at Westport

Franklin Delano Roosevelt, the president of the United States, arrived at Westport early Friday evening last. The president, his two sons, and other members of the presidentian party had been making a cruse along the south shore of the province. This was his second visit to Westport in twenty-five years.

They later sailed for Grand Manan and from there to Campobello, where President Roosevelt has a summer home. From Campobello he will leave for Quebec to meet Tweedsmuir, Govenor-General of Canada, and the Premier Hon. MacKenzie King.
